Just a few weeks ago, she was visited by child care officials in her Malibu, California home. Although nothing may have transpired from the incident, it is believed to be related to a report that Sean Preston had fractured his skull at home. It was shown that Sean Preston was able to slip out of his high chair and hurt fractured his skull when he hit the floor, although he was fine and suffered no major injuries due to the incident. However, Britney Spears has been most infamous for her lack of child safety when in the car. Just about a month ago, she was photographed multiple times holding Sean Preston in her arms as she fled a mob of paparazzi in her Land Rover Range Rover.

She claimed that she was just trying to protect her son and herself from the paparazzi but drew much criticism to herself as fleeing the scene with a baby in your arms while you are driving is very dangerous. Spears was also in the news recently for having the car seat facing the wrong way when driving which is also very dangerous. Regulations state that all children under the age of two should be seated in a car seat facing backwards while riding in a car. (All young children over the age of two can ride in a car seat facing forward as long as they are not sitting in the passenger seat.) These are just a few of her many mishaps as a newparent.

Recently, Britney confirmed suspicions that she would be having another baby by announcing that she was pregnant when she had a guest role on Dave Letterman, a Late Night show that airs in the United States. It had been speculated for a few months that her and husband, Kevin Federline, a backup dancer and now rapper, would be having a second child. Federline has not been in the news recently for parenting issues, but rather because of criticism of his rap album which is set to release later this year. All, we can do is to wait and see if Britney can learn from her mistakes and not make the same mistakes the second time around. These last few months have been a flurry with new Hollywood offspring as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and Keven Federline and Britney Spars among others have been in the news recently due to thir offspring.
